Running Rooster is proud to support local schools and community organizations through various fundraising activities.

 School and Organization Fundraisers

Running Rooster believes in supporting the local Hollister schools and other groups through weekly fundraisers.  Here’s all you have to do:

1. Take a look at the home page to see which organization is featured.
2. Come to our store downtown at 800 San Benito and select a wholesome, ready-to-go dinner, and be sure to mention your organization’s name.
3. Enjoy dinner and time with your family.  We’ll go ahead and donate 10% of those sales to that organization’s fundraising efforts—it’s that easy.

Community Events

In addition to our fundraising for schools and Moms-n-Kids as well regular donations of food, gift certificates, and baskets to worthy local causes, Running Rooster has been proud for the opportunity to participate in the following community events:

Chef for a Day program

Have you ever dreamed of being a professional chef and would like to give it a "test drive" in a commercial kitchen?  Now you can - and your investment in one day will fund the Running Rooster Foundation to support future community outreach activities.  You'll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with our cooks, participate in the daily planning, prep, cooking and cleanup (sorry, that's part of the job!)  You'll even get your own personalized chef's jacket--yours to keep.  For more information, contact the store at 831-634-0135 and ask to speak with Jim.
