Hello folks, this is Jim (the Cook) with a Rooster New flash.

No BBQ Brisket This Week

Sorry folks, but we had a problem getting our supply of brisket at the end of last week.  So, contrary to what it says on the menu (online and printed), we are not having the Texas BBQ Beef Brisket.  I apologize to those who have been looking forward to it.  We'll try to get it re-scheduled sometime in the next week or two.

Special on Lamb Shanks

It turns out we made too many Braised Lamb Shanks for our Gourmet Special at the end of last week.  So we are putting them on sale today and tomorrow only (while supplies last).  The price is 50% off, or $12.50 for a generous portion for two people.  Brenda and I had some last night with mashed potatoes and they were delicious.  Especially the lamb sauce with the red wine, fresh rosemary, and thyme flavors spooned over the mashed potatoes.  Don't miss this chance to have an elegant gourmet meal at hamburger prices.

Price on Ribs is FALLing

Just like last year, with the arrival of Fall and the reduction in backyard barbequing, the price of baby back ribs is starting to decline for the winter.  I'm happy to pass the savings on to you.  So from now until further notice (you never know with commodities like food), the price of our fabulous Genuine Memphis BBQ Back Ribs is dropping from $11.99 per pound to $9.99 per pound.  There's no reason not to enjoy them all winter long.
