Hello folks, this is Jim (the Cook) with a Rooster New flash.

Store Opens 1 Hour Late Today Only

We had a PG&E problem at the kitchen first thing this morning.  It pushed the start of our cooking back a couple hours so we are going to be opening the store at 3PM today only.  Hopefully this won't inconvenience anyone too much.

Tex-Mex Steak Fajitas On Sale

Apparently not too many folks were in a big Tex-Mex mood last week so we have some Steak Fajitas that we are selling at 1/2 price, today only.  If the Lamb Shanks sale was any indication, they'll go fast.

A Few Thanksgiving Turkeys Still Available

Our rotisserie turkeys are sold out, but we still have some room in the smoker if you haven't yet ordered your Thanksgiving turkey from Running Rooster.  More information is available in the last Rooster Newsletter.  Call the store at 634-0135 to order.

Don't Forget Your Referral Reward

We have posted the referral rewards list on our website.  Those of you who never claimed a referral reward from before the store opened can do so between now and January 31st.  And remember, to earn more rewards, just tell anyone you send to Running Rooster for the first time to mention they were sent by you and you'll earn 25% off on your next purchase.

Running Rooster is Hiring Again

I'm sure that all of you have come to know our great trio at the store:  Brian, Mindy, and Johni (that's Stitch in the picture with Brian and Johni at right).  Well there's good news and bad news.  The good news is that we are expanding our hours to include lunch.  The bad news is that our guy Brian is about to go off and become a Sheriff's Deputy.  And while we are happy that Brian gets to fulfill his dream, he leaves us with a big hole to fill.  So we are looking for another person or two to work at the store.  And we are offering a $100 gift certificate to anyone who refers a person that we end up hiring.  So help us find that next great Running Roosterite who will be a ray of sunshine behind the counter.  Our standards are high, but it's a great place to work.  Food and retail experience is a plus, of course.  Contact Brenda if you have a suggestion for us.  Thanks.
