Hello folks, this is Jim (the Cook) with a Rooster News Flash.

Happy Thanksgiving

Brenda* and I, along with the rest of the Running Rooster staff - Ben, Stitch, Ernie, Brian, Mindy, and Johnie - want to wish all of our great customers a big Happy Thanksgiving.  I know that we are thankful for each and every one of you who are so supportive in helping us build our dream.  We hope you have a warm, happy, over-fed, and safe holiday, wherever you may be celebrating it.

A Couple Reminders

We have a lot of big news to pass on to you this coming Monday in a regular Rooster News.  Until then, however, here are a couple reminders:

  • Closed Thursday and Friday:  The Running Rooster store will be closed on Thursday and Friday.  Have fun eating and shopping!
  • Turkey Pickups:  If you ordered a Thanksgiving Turkey from us, pickup time is 1:00PM tomorrow, at the kitchen on Shelton Drive.
  • Turkey Dinners Today:  We will have a limited number of complete turkey dinners for two at the store today, available after 4PM.  If you would like to take Thanksgiving dinner to a shut-in, or perhaps a public servant that has to work on Thanksgiving, that's an easy way to do it.  See the menu for details.
  • Lights-On Parade:  Don't forget that the downtown Lights-On Parade is this Saturday at 5PM.  We'll be open starting at 3PM if you want something sweet, an easy dinner, a free cup of coffee, or just want to say hi.  Lots of the downtown stores are doing nice things for this occasion, so be sure to come downtown and join us.

Take care, and you'll hear from me again on Monday.

* PS:  Brenda told me she wishes I had picked a better picture of her.
